Shielded Cable, Heavy Gauge (sold by the foot)

This sturdy coaxial shielded cable is suitable as a lead cord for applications where there'll be some wear and tear, such as the cord used for plugging a pickup or instrument into an external amp or preamp. The cable consists of an insulated center conductor of stranded copper wire that serves as the "hot" conductor, surrounded by a braided wrap of stranded steel wire that serves as the ground conductor and shield. The whole is surrounded by the black outer insulation layer. Overall diameter .15" (just over 1/8").
